What to expect at Harrogate Indoor Funfair

Get ready for a fun family day out at Harrogate Indoor Funfair.

With jaw-dropping rides and amazing inflatables for all ages, Harrogate Indoor Funfair offers all the fun of the fair in an indoor, climate-controlled and family-friendly environment.

There is also a cafe and baby changing facilities for families on-site.

Where is Harrogate Indoor Funfair?

There is free parking at Yorkshire Event Centre including priority parking for blue badge holders.

The number 7 and X70 buses stop at Sainsbury’s on Wetherby Road, around one mile from the entrance.

Please note there are no tickets on the door due to advice from Public Health England and limited ticket availability.

Tickets on the door will be limited. We recommend booking online to avoid disappointment.

The Harrogate Indoor Funfair is at the Event Centre, Harrogate at the Great Yorkshire Showground, Railway Road, HG2 8NZ.

There Is FREE parking available at Harrogate Indoor Funfair. Follow the signs through the showground and our parking attendants will be able to direct you to the right place.

There is a café on site serving hot and cold food.

There are also traditional funfair snacks available to purchase including donuts, sweets and candyfloss.

On rides where children must be accompanied by an adult, the adult must also have a riding wristband.

Notice From Public Health England

In light of the increasing rates of COVID-19 across the country, including in Harrogate where infection levels are particularly high among young people, the Director of Public Health for North Yorkshire has asked that we share the following information on COVID-19 with all staff and attendees of the Indoor Funfair.

  • All attendees are strongly advised to take a lateral flow test at home before attending the event. Anyone with a positive test result should not attend, and household members should follow national guidance for close contacts.
  • Face coverings are to be worn by those aged 12+, and are advised for under 12s who are able to tolerate them. They may be removed when eating and drinking or whilst on the following rides Scream Machine Waltzer, Superbob, Terminator Matterhorn, Frogs and King Sizzler.
  • Please remember to keep a respectful social distance between yourselves and people who are not in your group, including when queueing for rides.
  • Do not travel to the event if you are feeling unwell. If anyone begins to feel unwell whilst at the funfair they should leave the site immediately.
  • Follow all COVID-19 measures on site including regular hand hygiene, particularly before and after rides, before eating, and when using bathrooms.

Signage will be in place to remind attendees of the above. This guidance is in place to protect yourselves and others at this time of very high local rates of COVID-19 – please follow it to ensure that the event can be held safely.
